Disney star unrecognisable 18 years after co-starring with Miley Cyrus – and is now in a HUGE TV hit
HANNAH Montana was a huge hit when it aired on the Disney Channel from 2006 to 2011 and turned Miley Cyrus into a superstar.
Miley starred in the show as Hannah/Miley Ray Stewart but she wasn’t the only one to find further fame once Hannah Montana came to an end after four seasons.
Moises Arias was only ten when he fist started acting classes.
He is now one of the most successful actors to have come from the Disney Channel.
Moises had a recurring role as Rico Suave on the huge Disney hit Hannah Montana, and became a series regular in the show’s subsequent seasons.
In that same year he landed a role alongside Hollywood star Jack Black playing Juan Pablo in Nacho Libre.
Between 2009 and 2012 he starred in numerous films including Hannah Montana the movie where he reprised his role as Rico and Astro Boy where he played the voice of Zane.
In the film Noobz, about four friends who try to win the Gamecon Championship, he secured the role of Hollywood.
A year later he starred in the highly successful film Enders Game where he played the role of Bonzo Madrid.
He also appeared in Despicable Me 2 as the voice of Antonio Perez.
As his stardom continued he booked good roles in films such as The King of Staten Island and true crime thriller American Murder which did extremely well.
He is now starring in Amazon‘s hit show Fall Out which is an American post-apocalyptic drama based on a role playing video game.
The series depicts the aftermath of the Great War of 2077, an apocalyptic nuclear exchange between the United States and China.
Along the way, she meets a Brotherhood of Steel squire and a legendary ghoul bounty hunter, each having their own pasts and agendas to settle.
More than 200 years later a young woman called Lucy leaves her Vault to look for her father, who has been kidnapped by wasteland raiders.
Moises plays Norm MacLean, Lucy’s brother who is much more timid than her but is suspicious about what is happening in the vaults.
However, Disney fans may not have recognised him as the boy who played Rico in Hannah Montana because he has changed so much.
Moises has ditched Rico’s shaggy locks for a more cropped, slicked back style and has certainly matured.
When he appeared on the red carpet for the Primetime Emmy Awards he looked unrecognizable from the young boy who showed up on the red carpet 18 years before.
