How I recreated Sabrina Carpenter’s Hollywood glamour with her Charlotte Tilbury staples
CHARLOTTE Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter has been a celebrity favourite for years.
From Kate Moss to Jourdan Dunn, the make-up extraordinaire has ensured the world’s biggest models and stars are always red-carpet ready.

Newly crowned pop princess Sabrina Carpenter is her latest devotee, using Tilbury’s products to craft her flawless nod to old-school Hollywood glamour.
The singer has revealed the products she uses to get her signature look, which involves generous layers of Charlotte Tilbury’s dewy blush.
But, how easy is it for the non-celeb — me — to recreate her famous blushed-to-the-nines look? And are the products worth their high-end reputation?
Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter
Lucy loved the Hollywood Flawless Filter thanks to its versatility[/caption]Hollywood Flawless Filter, £39 from Charlotte Tilbury
Pros: Water-based, dewy formula, glowy, multipurpose, suitable for multiple skin types
Cons: Light coverage
Carpenter revealed to Elle magazine in 2022 that she uses Hollywood Flawless Filter for a natural daily glow, and the foundation might just be your new holy grail if you’re a fan of a dewy, light coverage.
I have blemished skin from acne scarring which means I tend to blend light coverage foundations with others, and this is exactly what Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter is made for.
It is a multipurpose formula that can be used alone, mixed with others, applied under or over foundation, or as a highlighter to enhance your cheeks and cupid bow.
This makes it ideal for various skin types including dry, blemished, and combination.
Its small wand applicator makes it perfect for precision targeting and the dewy finish allows for air-brush blending of other products.
There are also shade match, brand match, and virtual try-on options to help you find your perfect shade.
The Hollywood Contour Duo
The look comes to life with the two must-haves for any blush and contour enthusiast; the Hollywood Contour Wand and the Beauty Light Wand.
Hollywood Contour Wand
The Hollywood Contour Wand (pictured in the middle) is highly pigmented with a lightweight formula[/caption]Hollywood Contour Wand, £30 from Charlotte Tilbury
Pros: Highly pigmented, lightweight formula, blendable, soft cushion applicator that prevents wastage
Cons: Only two shades available
To create the shadow to enhance my cheekbones for the blush, I used the Hollywood Contour Wand in shade light-to-medium.
The product is highly pigmented and easily blendable, especially when used on top of the Hollywood Flawless Filter or over a bare face with Magic Cream primer.
It also acts as a perfect addition to enhance lighter foundation shades to make them a little darker after being abroad or acquiring a new tan.
Although its prime use is as a contour, much like the Flawless Filter, it is multipurpose. It can act as an eye shadow primer to add to a classic smouldering, smokey eye.
The Beauty Light Wand
“A personal favourite of mine, the Beauty Light Want blusher perfectly brings together the final look.”[/caption]Beauty Light Wand, £30 from Charlotte Tilbury
Pros: Highly pigmented, long-wear, dewy
Cons: Excess product can spill out
A personal favourite of mine, the Beauty Light Wand blusher perfectly brings together the final look.
Using the shade Pinkgasm, this highly pigmented blush is also dual action and can be applied to cheeks, lips, and nose.
Only a small amount is needed per application to achieve Carpenter’s classic blushed look.
How to complete the look
Charlotte Tilbury offers a multitude of products centred around old-time Hollywood glamour and some of her staple products can help complete the look.
The iconic Pillow Talk lip pencils complement any highly blushed look.
The finished effect can be locked in with the oil-free airbrush setting spray, which makes sure that makeup stays put for up to 16 hours.
This fixed make-up look can be enhanced by building upon Charlotte’s Magic Cream.
