Emmerdale hunk lands first job since quitting soap and devastating final scenes on show
ACTOR Jurell Carter has landed his next big break after leaving Emmerdale, and it’s taken his career in another direction.
The Emmerdale actor played Nate Robinson in the ITV soap for five years before his tragic exit earlier this summer.

After a punch-up with Cain, Tracy told Nate her and daughter Frankie would no-longer be coming with him to start a new life and he departed solo, with Jurell explaining that everything the character had worked to achieve had ‘shattered apart’.
However now he’s landing his next big role, and it sees him getting into the Christmas spirit.
Jurell revealed to fans what he’s been working on since leaving the Dales, as he posted snippets to Instagram.
He wrote: “Had the pleasure of voicing the new @sephora Christmas ads.”
Fans have wished him well on the new voiceover job, as one commented: “Yay you rock”.
Another shared: “No way! I’d never have guessed..what a voice.”
Speaking about his exit in September to the Metro, Carter explained: “The character of Nate and myself share a mindset of wanting to go onto a next chapter, but also just being emotional and sad over leaving everything behind.
“That’s how I feel as an actor, in terms of leaving a show that I love.
“I would speak to some of my colleagues and say it’s a weird one, because it’s not like I hate my job, it’s not like I hate my surroundings or the people that I’m working with.
“I love everyone and I love the job.”
He also revealed that he’d been asked about leaving earlier, but had pushed back to stay with the ITV soap and his on-screen character a bit longer.
He revealed: “My agent was itching for me to go probably a few years ago, but I said to him that it doesn’t feel like the right time, I’m in the right place and I’d know when the time is right. It never felt like the right time.”
