In scenes yet to air, Nicola is appalled when Angelica admits to having an innate evilness in her.
The shock revelation follows Angelica snapping at her mum when she suggests returning to school.
In the meantime, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) does her best to support a distraught Nicola as they contemplate Angelica’s words.
To this end, Laurel encourages Nicola to reconcile with husband Jimmy (Nick Miles) – but can this happen?
It comes as Angelica returned to the village in recently aired scenes – just months after being sentenced.
The troubled teenager had previously admitted to driving Wendy Posner’s (Susan Cookson) stolen car.
She, Heath and Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) ended up in an accident, resulting in Heath’s death.
Angelica received an eight month sentence to a secure children’s facility.
Following Heath’s death, actor Sebastian Dowling took to Instagram to share his parting thoughts.
Sharing a slew of photos, he penned: “Thanks to everyone @emmerdale for such a fun time filming over the 17 years.”
This included shots from his final day on set, including on-set filming from the crash.
Sebastian also shared a snap in casual clothes, posing next to the Emmerdale road signage.
One fan commented: “Absolutely sobbed when I watched the final scene.
“You’ve been amazing! Good luck to your future.”
Another added: “So proud of you always best luck in future x.”
A third said: “Ahh was such a shock so emotional got me crying i can’t lie, all the best for future you will be missed.”
Emmerdale continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
