Jonathan Bailey took a risky photo wearing one element of his Wicked costume!
The 36-year-old actor is set to bring Fiyero to life in the big-screen adaptation of the beloved musical, which premieres in theaters later this month.
In a teaser for the movie, he revealed that he took a nude photo of himself wearing nothing but a pair of the character’s boots. Jonathan had even more to say about the status of the photo in a recent interview.

“So my first in-person meeting, knowing that I was going to play Fiyero, was with the guy that made my ‘Dancing Through Life’ boots,” he recalled in a video that was shared on Wicked‘s Instagram account. “I think I flew over on a Tuesday, and then I was filming Bridgerton on the Wednesday to Saturday, and, as I got there, nothing arrived. So all I had was my Fiyero boots.”
He continued, teasing, “There’s an amazing photo that no one’s ever gonna see of me in nothing but my boots, which sort of felt right for Fiyero somehow.”
In a recent interview, Jonathan confirmed that the photo exists, saying that he wanted to “document” the first time that he tried on the costume.
“I’ve also locked my iCloud,” he said, adding that it now had two-factor authentication. The clip of the interview went viral on Instagram.
The revelation comes just a few weeks after Jonathan shared a cheeky photo of himself not wearing any pants!
