State police seize over 3.5 oz. of fentanyl in Dutchess County arrest
PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Bronx man was arrested in Dutchess County on Tuesday following a traffic stop, according to New York State Police. Larrington Henry, 33, is facing multiple charges.
On November 5 around 3:30 p.m., state police pulled over a Jeep Cherokee on the Taconic State Parkway in Pleasant Valley for reportedly committing vehicle and traffic law violations. During the stop, troopers found that the driver, identified as Henry, was allegedly in possession of just over three and a half ounces of fentanyl.
Henry was taken into custody at the scene. He now faces the following charges:
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - intent to sell
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
Henry was issued an appearance ticket to the Pleasant Valley Court for November 21 before being released.
