Patriots Injury Report: Time To Be Concerned With Star?
The Patriots don’t seem too worried about safety Kyle Dugger, but maybe they should be.
New England released its injury report on Wednesday, with Dugger (ankle), linebacker Christian Elliss (abdomen) and running back JaMycal Hasty (personal) all being listed as non-participants. Dugger hasn’t played since Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, missing back-to-back games due to his injury. The Patriots listed him as a limited participant throughout last week before leaving him inactive, so not participating could signal that the ailment has gotten worse.
It’s something to be monitored moving forward.
Elliss missed one practice last week with his abdomen injury, but played in Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans.
New England designated cornerback Alex Austin (ankle) to return from injured reserve last week, and it would appear he’s ready to come off the list as he was a full participant.
