EastEnders legend flogs £15 tickets as she performs at Chinese restaurant after struggling to land acting work
EASTENDERS fans can treat themselves to a slap-up Chinese meal and a performance from one of the soap’s legends – all for £15.
Cheryl Fergison, 59, is flogging tickets to the Cheryl’s Special £15 Weekend in a bid to make cash after failing to land acting gigs.

Diners can also feast on rice, chips or noodle sides, all while enjoying a two-hour singing session from Cheryl.
Cheryl has taken to social media and shared a menu to the special event, which will run this weekend at Great Fortune House in Thornton Cleveleys.
One excited fan replied: “We’re coming, can’t wait! How do we book?”
Another added: “Don’t walk, RUN!”
And a third gushed: “Sounds stunning Cheryl!”
This is the third money-making scheme Cheryl – who played hapless Heather Trott in EastEnders – has come up with this month.
She has also been flogging her decade-old scripts to generate some cash, charging fans £50 a pop.
Fans of Minute Mart employee Heather also have to pay £5 postage if they want to buy one.
EastEnders fanatics can even snap up signed pictures from Cheryl’s time in Walford at a cost of £5 plus postage fees.
However, a TV insider warned: “Cheryl attempting to sell the script could see her in hot water with bosses at the Beeb and EastEnders as legally she may not own the copyright to the material.”
Cheryl’s scrabble to make money comes after she admitted she is desperate to land more acting work to pay the bills.
In an honest social media video, she said: “What I want to put out is the terrible misconception by the general public that we are all rich.
“That is far beyond the truth. I’ve been out of EastEnders for nearly 13 years, in fact more than that I left in 2012.
“I’ve done jobs in between and I’ve done panto, I’m doing it this year but the jobs are kind of like… they’re continuous, they’re not like being in a soap all the time.
“Unless you’re someone like George Clooney or an A-lister American star that gets millions for their films, it’s very difficult – in inverted commas – to be rich.”

Cheryl – a mum-of-one – went on to explain that she has to ‘keep a roof over their heads’.
“Some people don’t understand that like everyone else we have bills to pay, rent to pay,” Cheryl added in the TikTok clip.
“We have to keep everything ticking and sometimes people, like myself, have to cover jobs.”
“People say, ‘Oh are you not acting anymore, you not doing it anymore’ and they fail to realise we still have to keep a roof over our heads and keep the bills being paid so we will do any job to kind of keep that going.”
Cheryl made her first appearance as Heather Trott in EastEnders in June 2007.
But the George Michael fanatic and Shirley’s best friend was brutally murdered by Ben Mitchell in April 2012.
Ben whacked Heather with a picture frame, which sent her falling to the ground and hitting her head on the kitchen counter.
The teen, who was played by Joshua Pascoe at the time, was later jailed for his crimes, despite dad Phil attempting to cover it up.
