Demi Moore Opts for Timeless White and Black Capped-Toe Heels at ‘The Substance’ Premiere in Paris
Demi Moore attended “The Substance” premiere at Cinematheque Francaise held yesterday in Paris.
True to her classic style, the thespian sported a pair of ultra-versatile capped-toe pumps. The vintage-inspired silhouette featured contrasting mixed leather and satin black and white uppers that transitioned into capped pointed toes and a sleek arched construction.
3 to 4-inch stiletto heels finished off the set, offering Moore a subtle boost. The footwear pick is not unlike styles hailing from brands like Chanel, Nine West, Jimmy Choo and Bottega Veneta. The timeless cap toe silhouette has other celebrity fans like Queen Camilla and Melania Trump. Moore’s shoe choices, especially as of late, have often veered in a simplistic direction. Usually in neutral tones, the actress tends toward heeled silhouettes, sometimes fixed with straps for a more secure fit.
The “Ghost” star accompanied her capped-toe footwear with a floral knee-length dress by Chanel featuring a boxy construction and mesh paneling in black. Layered overtop, Moore sported a deep blue wool jacket with colorful trim.
Where shoes are concerned, Moore often opts for sleek and versatile pairs on the red carpet. The MTV Movie Award-winning actress‘ go-to styles are pointed and peep-toe pumps and strappy sandals, often hailing from brands like Christian Louboutin, Brian Atwood and Jimmy Choo.
When off-duty, Moore can be seen in Nike, New Balance and Converse sneakers. The actress has recently become a larger fashion fixture, appearing on runways and in front rows for Dior, Fendi and Versace. She’s also appeared in campaigns for Andie Swim, Ann Taylor and more brands over the years.
“The Substance” is a 2024 body horror film directed by Coralie Fargeat featuring the likes of Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, Dennis Quaid and Hugo Diego Garcia. The movie follows Elisabeth Sparkle, renowned for an aerobics show, who faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance that promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself.
