Calcasieu Parish teen arrested after school threat

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- A teenage boy was arrested Tuesday after making a threat to his school in Lake Charles, authorities said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to St. Louis Catholic High School at approximately 9 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a threat.
Detectives said a 15-year-old student had admitted he threatened to bring a gun to school. He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with menacing.
