Presenters announced for 2025 Extreme Music Awards
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The celebrity artist presenters for the second annual Extreme Music Awards have been announced. The event will be held at Empire Live in Albany on January 11 at 6:30 p.m.
The award show, which celebrates the music and talent of regional metal, punk and hardcore performers, will feature trophy presentations by musicians from metal royalty, including current and former members of Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Overkill, and more. The announced presenters include the following:
- Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus)
- David Ellefson (Megadeth)
- Jonathan Donais (Anthrax)
- Jason Bittner (Overkill, Shadows Fall, Category 7)
- Matt Byrne (Hatebreed)
- Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob)
- Craig Setari (Sick of it All)
- Hoya Roc and Danny Diablo (Madball, Skarhead, Smoke AD)
- Brian Fair (Shadows Fall)
- Erik AK (Flotsam and Jetsam)
- James "Sitkman" Ramen (Fury of Five)
- Joe Keyser and Noah Carpenter (Skinless)
- Joe Altier (Brand New Sin)
- Paul Delaney (Black Anvil)
- Ian McFarland (award-winning film and music producer, director)
Organizers say additional presenters are still to be announced. Nominations for the Extreme Music Awards are open to the public through December 1.
