Pokémon TCG Pocket players can grab a full art promo for free with Premium hack
POKÉMON’S latest free mobile game has already become a sensation with people eagerly playing every day.
TCG Pocket is all about collecting cards, building decks, and using them to battle others.
Pikachu’s promo card is perfect for taking down the Lapras EX decks[/caption]However, most people can only open up two packs a day, meaning that it can be hard to build your collection.
There is one way to gain more cards, and in particular, you can pick up a super rare limited-time promo card.
Like most free-to-play games, you can sign up for a subscription to get a number of bonuses.
These include premium shopping tickets, promo cards, and an extra booster pack to open every day.
While the Premium Pass costs quite a bit per month, you can grab it for free with the introductory two-week trial.
The extra pack a day for the next 14 days is nice, but even better is the special Pikachu promo card.
Luckily, the Pokémon TCG Pocket subscription is very easy to cancel and you can do so immediately after you sign up with no drawbacks.
If you want to grab the Pikachu promo card for yourself without paying a subscription fee, here are the steps you need to follow:
- You first need to subscribe to the Premium Pass by clicking the gold ticket at the top of the app’s main screen.
- This requires entering your card details, but your card will not be charged if you continue following these steps.
- To claim your Pikachu promo card, tap on Shop, then go to the Limited Time / Events tab, and tap Premium.
- Exchange your premium shopping ticket for the Pikachu promo card.
- Return to the home screen in the app, click on the gold ticket at the top, and click on the cancellation button under the large pink one.
It only takes a few clicks to cancel, and you will still gain the perks of the Premium Pass for the next two weeks.
Pika Power
Building your collection with beautiful full art cards is part of the appeal of playing TCG Pocket.
Also with the current Lapras EX battle event, having an extra Pikachu card is a great start to building a Lightning deck to counter it.
While the Raichu card that goes with it can be difficult to grab, it’s still a pretty card to add to your collection with no strings attached.
