WITH a fresh new line-up, intense challenges and unexpected surprises, this season of The Rap Game UK promises to be one of the most thrilling yet.
Episode one dropped this week and already gave viewers all the drama following an intense on-air clash between two contestants.
The explosive row between grime artist Morgan Da Savage and rapper Only Zizou saw the pair exchange heated words during challenge one.
In the pilot this year’s contestants had to perform the traditional 16-bar challenge.
But, this time around instead of the judges voting for one of them to leave, it was the competitors themselves.
The shock twist blindsided the rappers, who battled it out so that they didn’t become one of the first contestants to be sent packing.
All seven contestants took to the stage to perform their bars for judges Krept, Konan and DJ Target.
While most of the artists impressed the judges and their fellow contestants it was Morgan Da Savage who fumbled her bars and was sent packing.
The female rapper also had her vote to cast and threw some serious shade at competitor Only Zizou claiming his performance was “low energy” and not her sort of rap.
In a confessional Only Zizou voiced: “What Morgan said I would have respected if her delivery was correct.”
Things only got more heated when Zizou cast his vote and in a brutal swipe, he said: “Just because of her performance I’m going to say Morgan. It goes without saying you did the worst today, so it’s pretty simple for me.”
“It is what it is. Giving the silliest excuses as well,” he continued.
Host Konan even commented that his choice of words were “a bit harsh”.
Morgan quickly spat back: “Yeah it’s cool man. Wait until after cos you’re dead as well.”
Only Zizou replied: “This is not your arena, look, let’s be real”
In a heavy rant Morgan continued: “I can’t lie, he’s dead. I’m pretty annoyed that some people are talking shit as well. I don’t even know his name Zou-Zi, whatever the f**k his name is”
“I’ll f**k him up G, don’t worry about it.”
As she exited the competition the rapper claimed she was not “disappointed” or “embarrassed” about being eliminated so early on.
Now months on from filming it seems the pair are still not on the best of terms.
While both follow all the other contestants from the show on Instagram they seem to have not gotten over their spat and do not follow each other the social media site.
