Married At First Sight’s two reunion shows in chaos as show star REFUSES to take part and ‘ghosts cast’
MARRIED At First Sight’s two reunion shows have descended into chaos as one star has ghosted the cast, and another has refused to appear.
The Sun revealed Alex Henry won’t take part in the episodes next week, and now a controversial bride will no longer be on the reunion show.

Eve became the show’s most talked about bride after being blasted as “toxic” by viewers for sleeping with Charlie on their wedding night before going cold on their honeymoon.
She accused Charlie of bullying her and appeared to rally cast members against her spouse, while apparently hiding her own behaviour from the group.
After explosive arguments, and Charlie attempting to quit the show twice, viewers saw them agreeing to give their TV marriage another go – before they eventually left the experiment.
However, not long after the series ended it transpired Eve was in a relationship.
A source said: “Producers were really hoping Eve would return for the reunion episodes to give some closure to her rocky relationship with Charlie and reflect on what went wrong.
“But she refused to film and hasn’t been in touch with show bosses or the rest of the cast since.
“Eve clearly wants to move on from the show but it’s a shame she didn’t return to reflect on everything, especially after viewers were invested in her and Charlie’s journey.”
Eve was spotted with girlfriend in Ibiza airport in September, before flying back to Belfast from the Spanish island.
An onlooker told The Sun the couple kissed multiple times, and when Eve noticed them, she put up her hood to better hide her face.
The onlooker said: “As a fan of MAFS UK I was shocked to see Eve with her hand around someone else other than Charlie.
“I was really rooting for them and they were one of my favourite couples.
“She seemed really loved up with the girl at the airport. She had her arm around Eve’s waist as they were waiting to check in their bags.
“Then when we took the photo she put up her hood as if she didn’t want to be seen”.
Meanwhile Alex – who is STILL with wife Holly Ditchfield despite both quitting the experiment – has also swerved the reunion.
The Sun can reveal that Alex did not attend filming for the upcoming reunion episodes that air next week, and therefore will has made his last appearance on the show.
A source said: “Alex didn’t film either of the two reunion episodes, which seemed really odd to the rest of the cast.
“It was unclear whether it was Channel 4’s decision or his own, but there was a lot of chatter about it amongst the brides and grooms who expected him to be there with his ex, Holly.”
Alex finished filmed MAFS in February but before the series launched late summer, the 28-year-old had attracted a slew of scandal.
He was pelted with domestic abuse allegations after his promo reel was shared online, with one user branding him a “dangerous individual”.
It later emerged Henry abandoned his RAF post to try to find love and fame on the Channel 4 dating show.
He was forced to spend 24 days in a military prison for leaving the electronic warfare base to shoot the series without permission.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
