Kilty was working as a volunteer with Surrey Police when she claimed a man had stalked and sexually assaulted her, it is said.
She told police the alleged incident had taken place on September 29 as she left work.
The court was told her clothes were taken away for examination and two statements were made.
But the allegation was found to be “untrue” as only the man appeared on CCTV from that day and not Kilty, JPs were told.
The charge sheet states: “On the 29th day of September 2024 at Guildford police station in the county of Surrey, you with intent to pervert the course of public justice, did an act, namely made a false allegation, which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice contrary to Common Law.”
Kilty was granted conditional bail to next appear on December 9 at Guildford Crown Court.
Surrey Police said the alleged offence was not connected to the volunteer’s role within the force.
