I transformed my kitchen with a £2 buy from Shein – it took minutes and there was zero hammering or drilling involved
A RENTER shared the budget buy she used to transform her outdated kitchen.
The woman gave her home a glow-up with a landlord-approved item from Shein.

She revealed that she purchased four packages of the 10-piece Green Brick Pattern Imitation Tile Self-Adhesive Wall Stickers, available for £2.25 each from Shein.
Riri cut the peel and stick tiles to fit her kitchen backsplash, which was originally an off-white colour.
The almost smoke-damaged look also featured random fruit tiles throughout.
Riri revealed that she found the pattern to be “really terrible” and researched the “easiest thing to do” to improve the space.
The TikToker decided that an emerald green tile would be better to liven up the space.
Before applying the product, Riri wiped down her tiles with a cleaning spray.
As she filmed herself securing the tiles to the wall, it became clear that she didn’t need to hammer or drill them.
In a follow-up clip, she revealed that the tiles had been up for a total of 34 months.
Riri explained that the peel and stick product had held up well, despite the odd air pocket.
“This is the stove area and I actually use it every day and it’s all great to this day,” she said as she showed a close-up of the area.
“We cook every evening and so far they have held up well.”
Her followers shared their thoughts on the upgrade in the comments section.
“This looks 10,000 times better,” wrote one impressed TikTok user.
“So cool! I bought the same yesterday! Looking forward to installing them in my kitchen,” said another viewer.
