Intership Navigation merges with Interorient Shipmanagement
Intership Navigation and Interorient Shipmanagement on Tuesday announced that they have merged to form InterMaritime Shipmanagement.
The new entity, which will include Intership’s sister company Donnelly Tanker Management, will manage 170 vessels, offering comprehensive ship management services globally.
Combining over 80 years of expertise, InterMaritime will oversee a diverse fleet, including tankers, LPG carriers, bulkers, containers, multipurpose ships, and specialised tonnage.
Services provided include technical and crew management, procurement, catering, insurance, travel, chartering, and commercial operations.
“This merger represents a significant milestone in our journey as ship manager,” said Dieter Rohdenburg, CEO of Intership Navigation and Donnelly Tanker Management.
“The merger with our peers Interorient is a perfect match that allows us to combine our extensive experience and expertise, collective knowledge and resources, thereby enhancing our geographical footprint and service capabilities, aiming to deliver flawless and competitive maritime services to clients worldwide,” he added.
Rohdenburg further stated that “at the heart of this new combined organisation are our people, whose talent and dedication are the cornerstone of our success”.
Meanwhile, Themis Papadopoulos, CEO of Interorient Shipmanagement, emphasised the shared values between the two companies.

According to the announcement, the creation of InterMaritime Shipmanagement “heralds a new chapter of growth and excellence in the maritime sector”.
