Tina Knowles gave a master class in sophistication over the weekend at the 2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala. While most of the guests arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Nov. 2 in California wearing long evening gowns, Beyonce and Solange‘s mom opted for head-to-toe Gucci and a pair of elegant yet fun slingback pumps.
Knowles attended the event alongside her daughter Solange and wore a tailored suit from Gucci’s Spring 2024 Read to Wear collection designed by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno. “I had fun at the LACMA Gala last night hanging with @solangeknowles I wore a @gucci suit designed by Sarbato De Sarno. He was lovely,” she shared on Instagram along with side by side photos of her look on the runway and one of her at the event.
The tailored suit featured a sharp black blazer with pockets and feathery sleeves. She wore the blazer with nothing underneath creating a tasteful plunging neckline. The matching black pants hit right at her ankle, giving a perfect view of her shoe, which was among one of the best of the night. Knowles wore a black patent leather slingback high-heeled pumps also from Gucci, which featured a hand-stitched crystal chain draped around the vamp.

The shoes featured an ultra-feminine silhouette, with a pointed toe, an adjustable Double G buckle closure, and a heel measuring 4.1″. The shoe retails for $1,890 and is available in an array of colors including green, light pink, red and gray. Knowles was in good company as fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson also chose to wear the pump for the event.
Big names from the art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries gathered for the thirteenth annual Art+Film Gala. This year, LACMA honored artist Simone Leigh and filmmaker Baz Luhrmann. LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio co-chaired the event for the 13th consecutive year. Gucci has also been a longtime supporter and sponsor of the event over the years.
