Jason Kelce Breaks Silence on Phone Swatting Incident, Says He's Not Proud of His Actions
Jason Kelce is breaking his silence on the phone smashing incident that happened over the weekend.
The 36-year-old former football player grabbed a heckler’s phone and smashed it to the ground after the man used a gay slur to describe Travis Kelce.
While appearing on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown on Monday (November 4), Jason opened up about the incident.

“I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it,” Jason said. “Within a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate and I don’t think that’s a productive thing. I don’t think it leads to discourse.”
“In that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have. Bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rules. That’s what I’ve always been taught. I try to treat people with decency and respect. I’m going to keep doing that moving forward,” he continued. “We got a game to focus on. A matchup. I don’t think this is the platform to necessarily go into more detail.”
Jason recently responded to NFL fans who are “upset” about him being on TV too much.
