Ohio State-Northwestern kickoff time announced
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Ohio State's trip to the Windy City to play at the Friendly Confines against Northwestern now has a start time.
The Buckeyes' Nov. 16 game against the Wildcats at Wrigley Field will kickoff at noon. No. 3 Ohio State will be heavily favored to defeat Northwestern at the home of the Chicago Cubs but first, they will host Purdue on Saturday at Ohio Stadium. The Wildcats are on a bye this week before hosting the Buckeyes.
Because of renovations at Northwestern's stadium Ryan Field, the Wildcats have had to play home games at Martin Stadium but will host the Buckeyes and rivals Illinois at Wrigley Field. This is the first time in 30 years Ohio State is playing a game at a stadium primarily used for an MLB team since they played Fresno State at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, in 1994.
