Juventus are plotting loan move for first-team Tottenham player
According to reports, Juventus are now considering making a loan move for one Spurs man after the club’s latest injury development.
Speculation continues over Tottenham man’s future
By now, many Spurs fans are likely tired of speculation linking Radu Dragusin with a return to Italy but the rumours show no signs of slowing down as we get closer to January.
The Romanian gave an excellent account of himself in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Manchester City on Tuesday and with Micky van de Ven now out with a hamstring injury, he will be expected to play a key role over the coming weeks.
However, it has now emerged that one of the 22-year-old’s former clubs are exploring a move to re-sign him.
Juventus want Radu Dragusin
This update comes from the print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness), who say that the Bianconeri are in the market for a centre-back after discovering that Gleison Bremer will miss the rest of the season due to his injury.
Juve are allegedly looking at players they can sign on loan and one of the defenders on their radar is thought to be Dragusin.
The Old Lady are thought to be prioritising the signing of Milan Skriniar from Paris Saint-Germain, but should they fail in their pursuit, they could turn their attention to the Tottenham man.
Spurs will not entertain offers
Even with Dragusin in their squad, Tottenham are still short of options at the back, and Postecoglou might be tempted to add another centre-back to his squad in January.
There is no chance that the club would consider offloading Dragusin mid-way into the season, particularly given the injury record of Van de Ven.
The likes of Juve, Napoli and others would have to wait at least until next summer to get Spurs to the negotiating table.
