'A lot of empty seats': CNN reports Trump rally crowd 'quite thin' day before election
CNN correspondent Steve Contorno reported Monday that a crowd waiting to see former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania was "quite thin" with "a lot of empty seats."
Moments before Trump was set to speak in Reading, Pennsylvania, Contorno spoke from the venue where the event was being held.
"I will say the turnout today so far for this event is quite thin," the CNN correspondent said. "There is a lot of empty seats left in this arena."
"But Donald Trump has built his brand around his ability to turn out large crowds," he added. "And so far in the stops today in North Carolina and here in Reading, it is noticeably thin here."
