Popular Amazon Fire Stick and Roku app with 85 free TV channels receives major boost including new comedy drama shows
A POPULAR free streaming service with more than 85 live TV channels has just received a load of new hit shows from US network NBC.
Pluto TV is much-loved among Amazon Fire Stick and Roku users – and anyone can access it instantly via their smartphone or computer too.
The Millers is among the shows available[/caption] Classic Knight Rider, starring David Hasselhoff, is also on the platform now[/caption] Miami Vice is on the new Pluto TV 80s Action channel[/caption]The service is run by Paramount and already features some big names from MTV, such as Geordie Shore and Catfish, as well as Hollywood movies.
There’s also content from Channel 5 and UKTV, available on themed channels or on-demand.
But as part of a fresh deal with NBCUniversal a whole bunch of well-known shows will be added to the service this month.
Psych is coming to the new Pluto TV Comedy Drama channel.
The show stars James Roday as crime consultant Shawn Spencer, alongside Dulé Hill as his best friend and reluctant partner Burton “Gus” Guster.
It originally ran from 2006 to 2014 with eight seasons and 120 episodes.
Currently, you would have to subscribe to Netflix to watch Psych.
The Pluto TV Comedy Drama channel will also be home to Scorpion, as well as The Millers and The Odd Couple.
Pluto TV 80s Action and Pluto TV Sci-Fi Series are launching on the platform too.
The 80s channel features some much-loved classics, including The A-Team, Knight Rider and Miami Vice.
Meanwhile, Pluto TV Sci-Fi Series will show Quantum Leap, Sliders and Battlestar Galactica.
The new channels are coming to the UK and Canada.
Separately for Canada only, Will & Grace will come to a new More Pluto TV Comedy channel.
