'That's not true': Dem Chris Murphy stomps on Fox News host's Kamala Harris attack
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) pushed back against Fox News host Brian Kilmeade after he attacked Vice President Kamala Harris and her policies.
During an interview on Monday, Kilmeade criticized Harris over undocumented immigration.
"Donald Trump killed that bill, right?" Murphy asked. "Even though it was supported by conservative Republicans on the border patrol."
"I don't know," Kilmeade claimed.
"But I'm just saying this idea that people don't know what Kamala Harris is for on immigration is just not true," Murphy noted. "She's going to get to immigration that Donald Trump opposes."
Kilmeade then asserted that crime was up under the Biden-Harris administration. But Murphy was ready for him.
"Crime shot up when Donald Trump was president," Murphy said. "At the end of Donald Trump's presidency, we were less safe. Crime has come down under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris."
"You got to be kidding me," Kilmeade gasped. "Who's tougher on crime, Trump or her?"
"But look at the data, right?" Murphy insisted. "Crime has come down. We have 20 percent fewer urban homicides."
"They revamped their crime stats, and they went up to 4.2% increase," Kilmeade argued.

"That's not true," the senator pointed out. "Urban gun homicides have come down in this country by 20 percent."
"Mass shootings are 20 percent fewer this year."
