11/4/2024: Cool and cloudy start to the week
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
A warm front pushing through will bring clouds and perhaps a few showers today - but at least warmer weather is expected behind it for tomorrow and Wednesday.
In the meantime, expect highs in the low 50's across the region this afternoon. Late afternoon and early evening could bring a few stray showers to the region, especially north of Albany.
Tonight looks a lot less chilly. With clouds in place and winds out of the south, temperatures fall only into the 40's for much of the region.
A few stray sprinkles are possible into the morning commute tomorrow, but most are dry. We will all clear out by midday, setting up a terrific Election Day Tuesday with highs in the low 70's!
Even warmer for Wednesday, with temperatures up into the mid 70's. It will be a bit breezy, with clouds and a few showers as a Cold Front approaches.
We cool down for the tail end of the week - highs in the low 60's for Thursday and Friday, then in the upper 50's for Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies through this period. Clouds and chance showers for Sunday, with similar high temps.
