Their home is a mile deep and it protects them from the toxic and deadly world on the outside.
The group is also bound by strict regulations that they think are in place in order to protect them.
However, nobody really knows why their giant closed-off community silo was even built.
Those who try to find out the reasons behind it could face potentially fatal consequences.
Apple TV has announced that the show will come back for a second series and it’s just days away.
With a 96 per cent score on review aggregator website, Rotten Tomatoes, the show has been a huge hit with fans.
Friday, November 15 will see the premiere of 10 new episodes that will make up the follow-up series.
A new episode will land on the streaming platform every Friday through to January 17, 2025.
Greatest Showman star Rebecca Ferguson, 41, leads the cast and the crew.
The actress plays an engineer called Juliette, who wants answers about the murder of one of her loved ones.
But when she seeks the truth, Juliette stumbles into a mystery that is deeper than she could have ever envisioned.
Alongside her starring role, she is also an executive producer on the hit series, created by Emmy Award winner, Graham Yost.
The apocalyptic series is based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels.
