Election Day will be a warm one in the DC area
Things are heating up for Election Day — in more ways than the obvious.
Temperatures are expected to be above average in the D.C. area as people cast their votes for the next president along with local officials and ballot measures.
Here’s what you need to know.
No precipitation is expected. Tuesday morning clouds and temperatures in the 50s will give way to afternoon sunshine and warmer highs in the 70s. Expect a light south breeze between 5 and 15 mph.

A cold front approaching the D.C. area will increase clouds on Wednesday, with shower chances increasing across the region on Thursday.
Any rainfall on Thursday is expected to be light and mainly isolated in nature.
