GOP Senate candidate bashed by robocall for acknowledging Biden won in 2020: report
Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan found himself the target of a robocall attacking him for acknowledging Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 election.
Hogan, a Republican locked in a tight Senate race, is slammed in the recording “for not being MAGA enough and urges support for Libertarian Party candidate Mike Scott, who is ‘pro-pardoning President Trump’ and ‘The only true conservative on the ballot,’” POLITICO reported.
“Lockdown Larry said Biden won the 2020 election, closed our jobs and our schools, called President Trump outrageous and unacceptable,” a narrator said in a recording of the call sent to a Republican voter in the state, according to POLITICO.

The publication added that the new “mysterious” super PAC Save Western Culture is behind the robocall and has poured money against GOP House and Senate candidates in other races.
“In some cases, such as in Maryland's Senate race, it has tried to shift Republican votes to third-party candidates. The group filed with the Federal Election Commission in mid-October and will not have to disclose its donors until after Election Day,” POLITICO reported.
A spokesperson for Hogan told the publication that it was “a slap in the face” to lie to voters.
“Sowing the seeds of election denial for partisan gain is a threat to our democracy, plain and simple,” Blake Kernen told POLITICO.
