APD searching for 2 suspects in south Austin armed robbery
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was searching for two suspects in connection with an Oct. 16 robbery.
APD said the robbery occurred at approximately 3:05 a.m. at Lucky Lounge, located at 11530 Menchaca Road in south Austin. According to police, the suspects entered the store armed.
While inside, police said one of the suspects pointed the gun at a woman’s face and took her purse. APD said the same suspect then robbed the cashier at gunpoint.
According to police, the second suspect stood outside the door as a lookout.
Police described the first suspect as a Black man in his mid to late 20s with a thin build. APD said he was last seen wearing black pants, white shoes and a black hoodie.
The second suspect was described as a man with a muscular build last seen wearing skinny jeans, black shoes and a gray hoodie.

“A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest,” APD said.
