I’m a professional cleaner – I’ve tried loads of brands but nothing beats my gran’s favourite, it’s my secret weapon
A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has revealed the scrubbing brand she swears by to get clients’ homes gleaming – and it was passed down by her grandmother.
Rebecca More is a full-time private house cleaner who has 11 homes on her roster and gets to surround herself with beautiful fragrance all day.

She said: “During my time in dentistry, I did many CPD courses linked to hygiene, sterilization, and bacteria, so germ kill is my thing.
“The science behind it all has always fascinated me, hence my love of cleaning.”
The self-proclaimed cleaning pro was introduced to her favourite brand Zoflora back in 1996, and since then she’s been “obsessed”.
Over the years, Zoflora has quickly become an adored household name and go-to cleaning brand for many.
Found in the cupboards of over 5 million homes across the UK, Rebecca revealed what exactly is it about the brand that she loves so much.
She said: “Both my mum and grandma used Zoflora when I was younger, so it always brings back nostalgic feelings every time I use it.
“Whenever I’m cleaning, I just go into my own little world. I tie my hair back in a bun and go for it.
“I treat it like a military operation – my friends and family think I’m mad, but it’s just what I love to do.
“I will use cleaning as a workout too – there’s no need for me to go to the gym, it really is a sport in its own right.”
She added: “I love using different fragrances all around the home, too. I use alternative fragrances depending on which room I’m cleaning.
“For example, when cleaning bathrooms, I opt for something a little more citrussy, whereas for living areas I’d use something fresh or floral – it really just depends what mood I’m in.”
Having used Zoflora for the last two decades, Rebecca has an impressive collection.
She spends around £750 per year on the cleaning products and uses it in her clients’ homes as well as her own.
She said: “My clients, and even my partner, are now just as obsessed as I am with Zoflora.
“All my clients have their own bespoke Zoflora collections in their homes, so I’m never far away from my favourite products and fragrances.
“Even my parents love it too! They’re both elderly, so I’ll go round to theirs once a week to clean.
“It’s lovely to see how it lifts their spirits, not only the cleanliness factor, but they absolutely love the smell of the different, long-lasting fragrances that I use.”
Offering up her tips on how to get your home sparkling, she added: “I’d always suggest starting with the kitchen. This is the room I find takes the longest.
“When disinfecting surfaces, aim high, moving down to the cupboards, the worktops and then floors, ending with the sink.
“I’d then move onto the living areas and dining rooms – be careful when dusting mirrors!
“When it comes to cleaning the bathroom, the first thing you should do is leave some Zoflora Concentrated Multipurpose Disinfectant neat in the sinks and toilet bowls, this way the rooms will start to fill with lovely fragrance, whilst you’re tackling the rest of your cleaning jobs.
“I also love to soak a piece of toilet roll in Zoflora and leave it in the bin.
“When it comes to showers, I always suggest cleaning the outside of the glass shower first, then physically get inside to do the rest.
“I am very thorough, so I ensure I seek out every little speck of grime. Shampoo and soap can be stubborn, so I will use Zoflora Power Bathroom to help lift away all the tough limescale from surfaces.
“Make sure mopping is the last thing you do – of course, using diluted Zoflora Concentrated Multipurpose Disinfectant. This is great, not only for the germ kill, but for the lasting fragrance.
“Using my all-time favourite fragrance, Linen Fresh, as it smells like you’ve sprayed an air freshener – it’s my secret weapon!”
