CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE’S JULIO CAMACHO RECEIVES NATIONAL EXCELLENCE IN ENGAGEMENT AWARD FROM SIMPLE SYLLABUS
Carl Albert State College is thrilled to announce that Instructor Julio Camacho has been awarded the Excellence in Engagement Award as part of the Syllabus Awards 2024, an honor that celebrates faculty who foster outstanding engagement with their syllabi and course materials. Selected from thousands of instructors across hundreds of institutions, Camacho’s achievement highlights his commitment to accessible and engaging curriculum design.
The Excellence in Engagement Award recognizes instructors who achieve high levels of student interaction with their syllabi. This prestigious award considers metrics such as the percentage of students engaging with syllabus content, as well as the frequency and volume of those interactions. Camacho’s ability to connect students with essential course information reflects his dedication to enhancing the learning experience through innovative and effective curriculum tools. Camacho is a math instructor on the Sallisaw campus of CASC.
