'Sure seem worried': Trump's schedule for last days of campaign raises eyebrows
Donald Trump's campaign sent out his schedule for the final days of his presidential campaign, NBC News political reporter Allen Smith stated in a post to X Friday — and it's raising eyebrows.
Smith revealed that Trump is attending four events in North Carolina — an area which until recently had not been considered to be a core battleground in the 2024 election.
While some locals were quick to laugh at the Trump camp's misspellings of city names like "Gronsboro" for Greensboro, political commentators questioned why Trump's campaign thought he needed to spend his valuable last few hours before the election there.

Early voting data from the University of Florida Election Lab shows at least 50% of North Carolina voters have already cast a ballot.
"Donald Trump is spending a lot of time in North Carolina in the final days," said Ammar Moussa, the Kamala Harris director of rapid response.
Senior fellow at Media Matters for America, Matthew Gertz, agreed.
"Sure seem worried about NC, at least one rally there each day," he posted on X.
The founder of Metropolitan Public Strategies, Neal Kwatra, also cited the North Carolina schedule.
"Not exactly broadening the playing field to close," he said.
Legal analyst Bradley Moss noticed it too, but also listed surprising schedules for Michigan and Wisconsin.
"Four North Carolina rallies? One in Michigan. None in Wisconsin," he cited.
Others also pointed out that there are no stops in Arizona and Nevada, which were both considered battleground states.
"Virginia in the final three days instead of Wisconsin, Nevada or Arizona is certainly a choice," said American Bridge presidential research director Julie Alderman Boudreau.
