'The Golden Bachelorette' Star Joan Vassos Gave a Major Hint About Her Relationship Status After the Show
Warning: This article contains spoilers for ‘The Golden Bachelorette’
The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos has been working over time to keep the winner of her season a total secret — even though some sources think they know who got her final rose. However, some of her statements about life after The Golden Bachelorette have led some fans to speculate on her relationship status now.
If you haven’t already figured out who wins The Golden Bachelorette, we recommend you stop reading now.
Back in September, Bachelor Nation insider Reality Steve revealed that Chock Chapple is the winner of Joan’s season of The Golden Bachelorette after making it to the finale with Guy Gansert. So far, all signs seems to be pointing to Reality Steve being correct as he also correctly named Joan’s final three and reported that Pascal Igbui self-eliminates during the Fantasy Suites episode, which he did in Oct. 30.
Are Joan & Chock Still Together?
Reality Steve confirmed that Joan chose Chock as her winner at the end of The Golden Bachelorette filming, which happened in late-July. However, we technically do not know if they are still together.
Joan did say that she left the show “very happy” during a Sept. 18 appearance on Good Morning America and while we’re used to seeing Bachelor leads play it coy, she definitely looked like a woman in love!
During Hometown Dates, Chock told Joan that he was “falling in love” with her and made it clear that he was confident about their relationship during his Fantasy Suites date. “I don’t want to be cocky, but I felt that we were the right couple from Day 1. I was awestruck when I stepped out of the limo… I’ve grown to appreciate you and to really love you more,” he told Joan.
This sounds very similar to what Joan had to say in a post-show appearance on The Viall Files podcast on Oct. 23 where she said that “Chock was one of those people” who she felt an instant connection with.
Are Joan & Chock Engaged?
Reality Steve reported that his sources couldn’t confirm whether or not Joan got engaged to Chock during the Final Rose ceremony. However, Joan has made it very clear in an interview after filming wrapped that getting engaged wasn’t her goal on the show.
“I said all along I didn’t need to leave engaged,” Joan told People in a September 12 interview. “My goal was to leave in a committed relationship. I wanted to have somebody I saw a future with and that we wanted to see how it works in the real world outside of the Bachelor bubble. I didn’t want to go through all of this and be at the same place I was when I came to the mansion.”
After Fantasy Suites, next up for viewers is The Golden Bachelorette: The Men Tell All on Wednesday, Nov. 6 which means it’s likely that Part 2 of The Golden Bachelorette finale will fall on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
