Watch live: JD Vance woos voters in battleground Michigan
Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) is in Michigan on Friday, gives his final pitch to voters in the battleground state.
In his remarks, the GOP vice presidential hopeful will tout the Trump campaign's commitment to addressing rising prices, manufacturing shortfalls and the economy. He is also expected to target the Biden administration over electric vehicle mandates and inflation, per the campaign.
The campaign stop comes as his Democratic rival Gov. Tim Walz (Minn.) is also campaigning throughout the state as early voting winds down.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ's polling index shows former President Trump trailing Vice President Harris in the state by less than 1 point, likely within a margin of error.
Vance's remarks from Portage, Mich., are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
