Police investigating after person found at east Austin gas station with life-threatening injuries
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Police are investigating after a person was found with life-threatening injuries at a gas station in east Austin early Friday morning.
Austin Police Department officers responded just before 5 a.m. to a "shoot/stab hotshot" call at a 7-Eleven gas station at the intersection of Giles Lane and U.S. Hwy 290.
APD said officers found a victim who had "arrived to the location with injuries." That person was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, but it's an "open and ongoing investigation."
