“I think she’s 49,” Beckwith gushed, as he introduced her.
Davis revealed that growing up her mum would sweeten every meal with refined sugar.
She described herself as being “addicted” to sugar and struggling with a sweet tooth for years to come.
Her now husband gave her two books in the 90s that inspired her to try a plant-based diet, Fit For Life by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond and Mucusless Diet by Prof. Arnold Ehret.
“Harvey and Marilyn addressed in volume 1 everything that pertained to my gut in particular,” Davis said.
“I was miscombining my food, eating completely and totally inappropriately.
“Knowledge is power even as it pertains to nourishing yourself.”
Having been wowed by how her health improved, Davis opened a vegan restaurant in Inglewood, California.
“I grew up with eczema, asthma, all of that went away,” she said.
“There are too many chemicals in processed foods. There is a difference between vegan and plant-based.
“I like plant-based because you can be vegan and be the junkiest, messiest, vegan and have no clue why you’re doing what you’re doing.”
Davis now eats leafy greens that “taste good” and avoids products with a long list of ingredients.
She raved that the health benefits of a plant-based diet are important for looking after yourself in old age as well as looking youthful.
A staple in her diet is an algae that’s readily available to buy on Amazon.
“I’ll take sea moss to enrich a salad dressing or a sauce it has 92 vitamins and minerals out of 102,” she said.
How is celery juice an anti-ageing potion?
Celery juice is packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids, which combat free radicals that cause cellular damage and aging.
Its high water content keeps your skin hydrated and plump, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
The anti-inflammatory compounds in celery, such as apigenin and luteolin, help reduce chronic inflammation linked to ageing.
Rich in essential nutrients like vitamin K and potassium, celery juice supports overall skin health and body functions.
Drinking celery juice regularly can complement a balanced diet and skincare routine, promoting a youthful glow from within.
Davis gave her seal of approval on Beckwith’s admission that he routinely eats soursop.
She revealed her diet also includes fruits such as melon, blueberries, and coconut water but they have to be eaten at a particular time.
“How many of us understand that a melon should be eaten on an empty stomach and by itself?” she said.
Davis recommended opting for organic fruits and vegetables to rejuvenate the body.
She also goes to sleep early every night and wakes up by 2 am.
The podcast garnered thousands of views on YouTube with one person describing her tips as “life-changing” and another saying “fabulous conversation.”
