Klay Thompson becomes sixth player all-time to make 2500 threes
Killa Klay continues to ball out in Dallas.
Everybody in Golden State Warriors fandom has a special place in their heart for departed franchise legend Klay Thompson. He left the Dubs after four championships, many records broken, and a heart for a new challenge with the Dallas Mavericks.
And tonight he crossed a new threshold of his wonderful career, becoming the sixth player to make 2500 threes in a career.

This is a tremendous feat for Klay of course, but it’s magnified considering he lost two full seasons due to devastating ACL and Achilles injuries. The Warriors helped bring him back to full health, and it’s great to see his legacy continuing, even if it’s in a different jersey. Keep knocking ‘em down Klay...just not against us!
