Trump, Harris head to Milwaukee for Friday events
Former President Trump and Vice President Harris are headed to Milwaukee on Friday as their presidential campaigns draw to a close.
Both Trump and Harris are holding rallies in Wisconsin, a key swing state that will help decide the winner of the race.
Trump’s rally will be held in Milwaukee at 8 p.m. CT. He will deliver remarks at the Fiserv Forum.
Before that, Trump will host two rallies in Michigan, another critical swing state necessary to win the presidency. At 1 p.m. ET, the former president will deliver remarks from Portage, Mich., and then head to Warren, Mich. for a 4:30 p.m. ET rally.
Harris will also be in the Midwest on Friday.
She’s hosting a rally in Milwaukee. Harris will be joined by rapper Cardi B, Flo Milli, the Isley Brothers, GlorRilla and more artists at her Friday evening event. It will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and is expected to run until 10 p.m. CT.
Harris’s running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.), will also campaign on Friday in Michigan. He will make stops in Detroit, Flint and Traverse City. Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), will be in North Carolina, another battleground.
Harris and Trump are neck-and-neck in the seven swing states.
In Michigan, Harris has a 0.4 percentage point lead over Trump, with 48.6 percent to his 48.2 percent. In Wisconsin, Trump has the lead. He’s ahead by 0.5 percentage points, with 48.9 percent to Harris’s 48.4 percent, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s poll aggregation finds.
Nationally, Harris has a 0.4 percentage point lead over Trump.
With days left before Election Day, Harris and Trump are looking to make their last-minute pitches to voters in what is expected to be one of the closest races ever.
