Ayia Napa Marina to host 2025/26 International Sea Tourism Festival
Ayia Napa Marina will host the International Sea Tourism Festival (ISTF) in 2025/26, putting Cyprus at the heart of the world map of marine tourism, while offering an excellent opportunity to highlight the Marina and our country.
This year’s event, held over October 25-28, 2024 in Rhodes, with the central message “Go Blue – Go Green – Go Smart”, and with Ayia Napa Marina as the naming sponsor, laid the foundations for the future, attracting participation from Greek sailing companies, cruise lines, sailing, diving, marine sports and leading global brands.
In addition to being a celebration of the sea and tourism, the ISTF also offers a development platform for local professionals and companies, boosting the region’s economy by encouraging the development of new services and creation of new jobs. The 2025/26 event is expected to enhance the prestige of Ayia Napa Marina and provide significant benefits for Cyprus, while attracting high-level tourists from around the world.
Within the framework of this year’s ISTF’s Open-Air Seminars, Ayia Napa Marina CEO Stavros Caramondanis presented the latest developments in “smart” technologies and the green transition in marine tourism. His presence raised expectations for the ISTF in Cyprus, by discussing how these technologies are being implemented at the Marina. In particular, CEO Caramondanis referred to the Marina’s advanced app, which is accessible to visitors, boaters and residents, providing information and services that enhance their experience. Through his presentation, he highlighted the Marina’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development, as well as its important role in the modernisation of maritime tourism in the region.
Committed to the values of marine tourism and a sustainable future, Ayia Napa Marina looks forward to hosting this premier festival, and offering its visitors a unique experience in an environment that embodies innovation and Cypriot hospitality.
