Thousands flee following Israel's evacuation orders in south, east Lebanon
Thousands from the historic Lebanese city of Baalbek and neighboring towns fled their homes on Thursday after Israel's latest evacuation orders, turning the roads to nearby Deir al-Ahmar into a "parking lot". The evacuation order covered areas throughout southern and eastern Lebanon, as Israel's most recent bombing campaign on Baalbek and the coastal town of Tyre entered its second consecutive day.
