One of the top rushers in college football will be on display when Ashton Jeanty and the Boise State Broncos (6-1) take on the San Diego State Aztecs (3-4) on Friday, November 1, 2024.
The Broncos enter the matchup after winning 29-24 over the UNLV Rebels in their last outing on Oct. 25. The Aztecs are coming off of a 29-26 loss to the Washington State Cougars. Maddux Madsen threw for 209 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions on 18-of-33 passing (54.5%) for the Broncos in that matchup against the Rebels. He also added three carries for 58 yards and one rushing touchdown. Jeanty rushed for 128 yards on 33 carries (3.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding three receptions for 11 yards. Prince Strachan hauled in two receptions for 43 yards (averaging 21.5 per catch) against the Rebels. Danny O’Neil totaled 195 passing yards while going 22-for-34 with no touchdowns and one interception for the Aztecs against the Cougars. Marquez Cooper carried the ball 18 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns. He caught one pass for six yards. Ja’Shaun Poke caught 10 passes for 80 yards (8.0 yards per catch).
