Tyler, the Creator adds second Austin show to 'CHROMAKOPIA' world tour
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Tyler, the Creator will be back in Austin this spring. Next time he's here, though, he'll be the main event.
The California rapper has added a second show at the Moody Center, just a week after it was announced that he'd bring the "CHROMAKOPIA: THE WORLD TOUR" to Austin in March. He'll also make stops in Dallas and Houston.
Tyler is no stranger to the Live Music Capital of the World, having just come off of a headlining stint at the Austin City Limits Music Fest in October. He also headlined the fest in 2021, stepping in last minute as a replacement for DaBaby.
The Moody Center concerts will be on Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16. Lil Yachty and Paris Texas will be on the tour as openers.
Tyler, the Creator, most known for his albums "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST," "IGOR," and "Flower Boy," has been a buzzing topic online this week after dropping his eighth studio album "CHROMAKOPIA."
The rapper announced Wednesday on his Instagram that additional shows had been added to the tour for several cities. Austin was the only Texas city to get an extra date.
Presale for tickets starts Thursday, Oct. 31 at 10 a.m. and general sale starts Friday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m.
