Franklin Parish man charged with 20 counts of child porn
FRANKLIN PARISH, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- The Louisiana Cyber Crime Unit arrested a man Wednesday for multiple counts of child porongraphy, authorities said.
David A. Punchard, 54, of Baskin, La. is charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography under the age of 13.
According to officials, the arrest is a result of agents receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The arrest resulted from a joint investigation with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Punchard was booked into the Franklin Parish Detention Center without incident. His bond was set at $200,000.
