3 killed in possible murder-suicide in the Bronx: sources
LONGWOOD, the Bronx (PIX11) --- Three people were shot and killed in a possible double murder-suicide in a Bronx home on Wednesday night, according to police and sources.
Officers found a 34-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to their head inside the home at 613 Southern Blvd. at around 8:10 p.m., according to the NYPD. Another man, 57, had been shot multiple times in the body in the home.
The 57-year-old man and woman died at the scene, police said. The 34-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
Authorities believe the shooting was a domestic incident, sources said. The investigation is ongoing.
The victims have not been identified.
There have been six murders in the Bronx's 41st Precinct this year, two less than in 2023, according to NYPD data.
