FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
It has been another near record warm day today, with highs and lows within a few degrees of the records. On average our high of 77 and low of 59, gives us an average temp of 68°, which ties for the record for the date. This is the 2nd day in a row that this has happened.
Overnight, we will have some clouds, and a near record warm night with lows in the lower 60s. Halloween will be one of the warmest on record, but not record warm, as the record is 83°. We will see temps push up into the mid to upper 70s with breezy to windy conditions, and rain showers returning mid to late afternoon. More showers and gusty winds into the 30s (mph) range will continue through the Trick or Treat hours.
The cold front will push through by midnight with lows dropping back to the middle to lower 40s for Friday morning. Expect sunshine to return, and temps back near normal on Friday around 60. Temps will fall into the 50s by kickoff by FFN, and drop into the upper 40s by the tail end of the games.
The weekend will start off closer to normal in the mid to upper 30s, and will climb to the lower 60s with sunny skies on Saturday. Sunday will see showers returning late in the day as a warm front lifts north, and highs will be in the upper 60s. Don't forget, Sunday is the longest day of the year, as we turn our clocks back an hour Sunday morning.
Monday expect a chance of showers, with highs back into the middle 70s. Election Day Tuesday does look to keep a few isolated showers in the forecast again, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. A cold front will be approaching after voting ends Tuesday night, and will bring showers through into early Wednesday morning.
It does appear behind the front, temps will stay a bit above normal on Wednesday with highs still into the middle 60s with some clearing later in the day.
