Greenfield duo arrested on felony drug charges
WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people from Greenfield were arrested on Saturday following a drug investigation, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. Jason Allen, 45, and Courtney Gilboy, 27, are facing several felony charges.
Allen and Gilboy are accused of having a variety of stimulants and narcotics, including nearly one ounce of cocaine and several grams of heroin, in addition to a digital scale. Allen reportedly had an active warrant for his arrest, and deputies took the two into custody around 11:55 p.m. at the 7-Eleven in Wilton after a search was conducted on Allen's car. They both face the following charges:
- Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A felony)
- Four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class B felony)
- Criminal use of second-degree drug paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor)
Allen was also charged with third-degree bail jumping. The pair was arraigned at Wilton Town Court before being remanded to the Saratoga County Jail.
