Every Patriots Player Playing On Expiring Deal With Trade Deadline Coming
The Nov. 5 NFL trade deadline is rapidly approaching, and the New England Patriots are in a position to move some players they have on expiring contracts at the end of the season.
The Patriots currently have 18 expiring contracts, and some big decisions will have to be made on what to do with them.
Here is every player and their expiring contract, per Spotrac.com:
Jacoby Brissett, QB
Brissett is on his second tour with the Patriots after being drafted by the club in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Brissett was supposed to serve as a bridge quarterback for rookie Drake Maye, but the Patriots benched him in favor of Maye after a 1-4 start to the season. He signed a one-year, $8 million contract as a free agent in March.
Jonathan Jones, CB
Jones signed as an undrafted free agent with the Patriots in 2016. He has forced nine fumbles and two recovered fumbles, adding 11 interceptions and one returned for a touchdown, seven quarterback hits and 2.5 sacks and over 400 tackles across nine seasons with New England. Jones is in the final year of a two-year, $19 million contract with the Patriots.
Deatrich Wise, DL
Wise is in the final year of his $22 million contract with the Patriots, which he signed in 2021. He has played eight games this season and has 17 total tackles, two sacks and three quarterback hits.
K.J. Osborn, WR
Osborn signed a one-year, $4 million contract as a free agent this past offseason. He has appeared in six games for the Patriots with 57 yards on seven catches and one touchdown.
Austin Hooper, TE
Hooper has appeared in eight games for the Patriots with 129 yards on 15 receptions and one touchdown. He signed a one-year, $3.125 million contract with New England as a free agent in the offseason.
Marco Wilson, CB
Wilson signed a one-year, $2.616 million dollar contract with New England as a free agent in the offseason. The veteran cornerback has suited up in seven games for the Patriots this season and has eight total tackles in those contests.
Daniel Ekuale, DT
Ekuale has appeared in seven games for the Patriots this season and has 23 total tackles, including one for a loss and two quarterback hits. The 30-year-old defensive tackle is in the final year of his $3.4 million contract.
Raekwon McMillan, ILB
McMillan signed a two-year, $2.990 million contract with New England in 2023. He has suited up for eight Patriots’ games this season and has recorded 41 total tackles.
JaMycal Hasty, RB
Hasty signed a two-year, $2.9 million contract extension with the Patriots in 2023. This season, he has 32 rushing yards on 10 carries and one touchdown in eight games.
Joey Slye, K
Slye is on a $1,267,500 one-year deal with the Patriots. The veteran placekicker has made 11 field goals on 13 attempts this season. Slye has been a perfect 11-for-11 in extra-point attempts.

Hawkins has 24 total tackles in eight games for New England this season. The 27-year-old safety signed a one-year, $1,292,500 contract with the Patriots in the offseason.
Christian Elliss, OLB
Elliss joined the Patriots last season when New England claimed the three-year veteran off waivers in December from the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed a one-year, $985,000 contract in the offseason. Elliss has one forced fumble and fumble recovery to go along with 31 total tackles and three quarterback hits across eight games for the Patriots this season.
Zach Thomas, G
Thomas has appeared in seven games for the Patriots this season. He has been on the field for 84 offensive and 20 special teams snaps. He will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season. The Patriots inherited his one-year, $985,000 contract when they claimed Thomas off waivers from the Los Angeles Rams.
Michael Jordan, G
Jordan was promoted to starting left guard this season. Injuries prevented the 26-year-old in two contests. Otherwise, Jordan has been on the field for 100% of the offensive snaps. He signed a one-year, $1,125,000 contract with the Patriots in January.
Jeremiah Pharms, DT
Pharms is in the final year of his $1,665,000 deal with New England. He has started one game for the Patriots this season and has 10 total tackles and one quarterback hit across seven appearances at defensive tackle.
Demontrey Jacobs, LT
The Patriots claimed Jacobs off waivers from the Denver Broncos in August and assumed his $795,000 one-year contract. Jacobs was inactive for the first two games of the season. After 14 offensive snaps in Week 3, Jacobs was promoted to starter the following week and has not missed a snap since.
Jaquelin Roy, DT
Roy was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad in September and promoted to the active roster in October. In four games, Roy has 14 tackles and two quarterback hits. He is on a one-year, $915,000 deal.
Isaiah Bolden, CB
Bolden has one fumble recovery in five games for New England this season. He’s on a one-year $795,000 contract with the Patriots and will be an exclusive rights free agent at the end of the season.
