Netherlands, Italy and Belgium to co-host Baseball European Championship 2025
WBSC Europe announced that three Member Federations will co-host the Baseball European Championship 2025. The Netherlands Rotterdam will host Groups A and B and the elimination stage (quarterfinals, semifinals and European Championship Final). Senago, Italy, will host Group C, while Borgerhout, Belgium, will host Group D.
The XXXVIII Baseball European Championship will be scheduled in late September.
WBSC Europe also announced that Germany earned hosting rights for the Baseball European Championship 2027, with Regensburg as the main venue.
The Baseball European Championship was inaugurated in 1954. The Netherlands have won 24 editions. Italy follows with 10 titles. Spain (2) and Belgium (1) are the only other European Champions.
Spain won the last edition in 2023 in Prague, Czechia, ending a Netherlands-Italy domination that started in 1968.
