Deadly Israeli attack on Gaza residential building kills at least 93
Israel continued its attacks on Palestinians in Gaza, bombing a four-story building in Beit Lahia, resulting in at least 93 civilian deaths.
Al Jazeera on Wednesday, October, 30, described the Israeli attack on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza as “horrific,” reporting that at least 93 people, including 25 children, were killed in the bombing.
According to Al Jazeera, the residential building was targeted by an Israeli airstrike the previous day. Efforts to recover bodies and rescue survivors trapped under the rubble are still ongoing.
The BBC reported that around 200 people lived in the four-story building, and the fate of many residents remains unknown.
This deadly attack has triggered a wave of global outrage.
Matthew Miller, the spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, explicitly called on Israel to explain the “horrific” attack in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
Israel has acknowledged awareness of the attack in northern Gaza and stated that the matter is under investigation. Amid rising casualties and humanitarian concerns, the international community is increasingly pressuring both parties for accountability and restraint.
