Man allegedly hits officer with a car in Brooklyn: NYPD
EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A man allegedly hit an officer with a car Tuesday night in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 9:32 p.m. near Sutter Avenue and Forbell Street.
Police say they observed a dark-colored sedan driving recklessly and attempted to stop the car. That's when the driver allegedly accelerated into the officer.
The driver, a 25-year-old man, was taken into custody.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
